Hi, I am Emily Spellman! This is my ninth year teaching at Potlatch Elementary School and my seventh year teaching third grade. I graduated with my Masters in Education from the University of Idaho in 2007. I have an endorsement in reading as well as in teaching gifted and talented students. After I earned my degree I taught reading in Moscow for 5 years, then I began to teach here in Potlatch. I run my classroom with Love and Logic, learn more at http://www.loveandlogic.com. I am committed to creating a love for life long learning that will follow students into adulthood. I combine my compassion and enthusiasm in the classroom. I am passionate about teaching children and developing relationships with them that will build a sense of confidence and enable them to grow as learners in a safe environment. I work hard to help every student meet their individual growth goals. I love to teach.
